Waltham Youth Football & Cheer's cheer program has divisions from 6u to 14u (ages 5–14 as of July 1). The youngest squads (6u/8u) compete as Competition Non-Advancing — performing a full judged routine at invitational and local events without advancing to States. Older squads (10u and up) compete as Competition Advancing, aiming to place first through third to advance to State, Regional, and National championships. Practices begin the week of July 27, 2026, with mandatory competition practices from the second week of August; the first competition is October 3, 2026.
