Travel Basketball (Grades 5–8, Metrowest League)

About this program

Travel teams for boys and girls in Grades 5–8, playing in the Metrowest Basketball League. Each grade fields an A team (higher division) and a B team (lower division); Metrowest has six competitive divisions. Tryouts are held in mid-to-late October — players attend two tryouts scored by independent, impartial evaluators; cuts are made when numbers require. Practices start in November (Hosmer & Lowell Elementary gyms); regular-season games start in December on Saturday afternoons/evenings and Sundays, with home games at Watertown Middle School; playoffs run early to mid-March.
