NYB's cornerstone program for boys and girls in Grades 4–8, with teams formed by grade and gender via tryouts (typically 2–3 teams per grade per gender), playing in the Metrowest Basketball League. Each team has two practices and one game per week; games are generally on Sundays in Natick or nearby towns. Players are expected to make basketball their primary winter sport. Players not placed on a travel roster can move to the intramural league.
