A competitive travel league for boys and girls in Grades 4–8 who live in Brookline or attend school there under the METCO program. Teams play in the Metrowest Basketball League (dozens of towns, hundreds of teams across Greater Boston/Eastern Massachusetts). Each team has two 90-minute weeknight practices and one Sunday league game in a 12-game schedule; practices start late October/early November, regular season runs early December through late February/early March, then playoffs. Placement by grade via tryouts (A/B teams); not everyone who tries out makes a roster.
